Nina - Sao Paulo          
 
Born in 1977 in Tupa / Sao Paulo Nina belongs to the pioneers of the Brazilian graffiti scene. Since 1992 Nina travels around the globe to show her work and develop her techniques.

Nature is the favourite theme of her works with focus on insects. Nina intends with her work to reveal the importance of the animal world. So she frequently depicts her characters with huge eyes – reflection of ones soul and gate to secret/deep feelings.

Harmlessness and childish features, small details which are often only perceived by children are confronted with the harshness and aggression of the adult world – both mixed with Nina’s inspiration and colour composition melt together and underline the subjective message of her works.

Nina works on and with different material like canvas, dress robe, resin, wood etc. Most of her pieces of art are designed three-dimensional.
